Founded from hands-on experience in the building industry, Profile Panels was created after seeing a gap in the market for architectural feature panelling that not only looked premium, but also worked practically in real-world applications. With a strong appreciation for modern design and quality finishes, our goal has always been to provide products that help create spaces that feel considered, refined, and built properly.
Industry Led From The Beginning
Founded by an LBP Building Practitioner with an eye for detail that still remains actively involved in the construction industry today. The real-world experience continues to shape how we approach everything — from the products we develop and source, through to the support and guidance we provide our customers.
With extensive real-world installation experience across hundreds of projects and a wide range of applications, our team understands not only how these products should look, but how they should perform and install properly in real spaces. From feature walls and ceilings through to curved applications and large commercial fit-outs, we’re able to guide our customers toward the right products, layouts, and finishes with confidence.
Made In New Zealand
As the business evolved, we quickly realised that not every product available in the market met the standard we wanted associated with the Profile Panels name.
Rather than compromising on quality, finish, or consistency, we made the decision to take greater control over parts of our range by manufacturing selected products here in New Zealand. While it required significantly more investment, development, and hands-on involvement, it allowed us to create products that aligned with our expectations for both quality and practicality.
Today, several of our ranges are proudly manufactured locally, allowing us to maintain tighter quality control, refine designs through real-world experience, and provide products we genuinely stand behind — all while still delivering strong value to our customers. As the business continues to grow, we remain committed to expanding local manufacturing where possible, with an ongoing focus on quality, innovation, and supporting New Zealand-made production.
